Morceaux d’espaces is made of blocks of sound material with their own characteristics. These materials meet and fuse, creating ephemeral moments across the piece. A distinct percussive element appears intermittently before taking a more important place in the piece, connecting the different sections.

Morceaux d’espaces is influenced by Bresson’s movie Pickpocket and the idea of having an important and personal object (wallet) being taken, moving from hand to hand, and emptied from its substance and personal attachments.
